A major police operation that was conducted at the weekend throughout various communities within the Eastern Division, by officers assigned to several units of the RGPF, saw the arrest and detention of many individuals, and the recovery of illegal items.   Dillon Randy Joseph, 27 years, Bus Conductor of Mt. Horne, St. Andrew, was arrested and charged on two counts of Money Laundering, for cash amounting to $9,290.00 ECC and $4,500.00 ECC. He was granted bail in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5000.00) with one surety, he is scheduled to make his first court appearance on 17.02.21.    …
Based on information received, officers attached to Grenville Police Station proceeded to the lands of Vivian Felix at Felix Park St. Andrew.  There they discovered his motionless body underneath a tree.  Felix, a 52 year old Farmer of Belle Isle, St. David, was pronounced dead by the district medical officer.   During a joint search by officers attached to the Carriacou Police Station and members of the public, the body of Madeline Ray, 84 years, Retiree of Mt. Royal, Carriacou, who was reported missing on January 10th 2021, was discovered in Top Hill, Carriacou, on Sunday 24th January, 2021.  …
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force wishes to advise the general public, that the Forestry Department, Ministry of Agriculture would be engaged in tree cutting along the Black Forest roadway from Monday 25th to Friday 29th January 2021. Members of the public and motorist are urged to be extremely cautious when travelling along the Grand Etang Public Road, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m daily. The Traffic Department thanks everyone for their understanding and support and regrets any inconvenience that may be caused.
On Thursday 21st January, 2021, officers of the Drug Squad Unit executed a search warrant at the premises of Miller Garraway, 33 years, Fisherman of Soubise, St. Andrew.  One (1) fine bag containing packages with plant like material resembling cannabis was dug up at the said premises.  The packages weighed twelve (12) pounds, and carries an estimated street value of twenty seven thousand, two hundred and sixteen dollars ($27,216.00). He was later arrested and charged for the offence of Trafficking in a Controlled Drug.    He made his first court appearance on Friday 22nd January, 2021, at the Grenville Magistrates…
