Responsibilities:

Criminal Records Office is a subunit of the Criminal Investigation Department. Responsibilities of the unit are:

• Maintaining records of all persons convicted of offences in Grenada
• Prepares Records of Criminal Convictions in respect of defendants brought to court
• Provides Police Record Certificate to members of the public
• Provides photography services for the Force activities
• Photography and processing of crime scenes
• Collects and analyses finger and shoe print evidence
• Collection of other forensic evidence
