Edvin Martin

Commissioner of Police Edvin Martin was enlisted in the Royal Grenada Police Force on July 1st 1986.
 
He was appointed Commissioner of Police (Acting) July 2nd 2018 and was later confirmed Commissioner December 2020. 
 
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with honours in Business Administration and a Master’s of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice. 
 
He attained a number of certificates and diplomas in policing and Criminal Justice during his career. 
 
A graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy (FBI) and the Centre for Hemispheric Defence Studies.
 
He also served as an instructor with the Regional Security System for a number of years.
