At first many thought it was a joke but then the ole talk took to another level and plans began to roll into place for a visit to Grenada by the NYPD Soccer Club.
When it was realized that everyone was getting a little more serious, individuals from either side Royal Grenada Police Force and NYPD began throwing jabs at each other on the whatsapp group that was created to coordinate the trip to the Spice isle.
Little did anyone realized the thing would get so serious. Now that the clock is ticking fast towards the arrival of NYPD Soccer Club, we have learnt of a massive comedy show carded for the Kirani James Athletics Stadium on May 3rd 2019.
Starring will be Lieutenant Nimrod Ollivierre of NYPD and Larry Roberts also of NYPD as well as Grenada’s Commissioner of Police Edvin Martin and his Deputy Franklyn Redhead.
As if this was not enough, we are learning of other actors such as ACP Holly George (former national goalkeeper) and Inspector Allan James as co-stars.
While we are not sure of the likely outcome, the Commissioner and his Deputy are seen regularly in the gym getting ready for this much anticipated match.
One can expect all of Grenada to be in attendance to see the battle of forces. I for sure will be in attendance to enjoy every minute of the match up.
