A St. David resident has been charged with non-capital murder following the death of a 62-year-old woman he is accused of striking in the head sometime between September 11 and 12^th.

Shirley Thomas of Marlmount, St. David died on Tuesday 16^th September, 2019 at the General Hospital. An autopsy determined that Thomas died from traumatic brain injury.

Charged with non-capital murder is Victor Creedland, 49, of Marlmount (St. David).

Creedland will appear at the St. David Magistrate’s Court on Friday 20^th September, 2019.
