A major police operation that was conducted at the weekend throughout various communities within the Eastern Division, by officers assigned to several units of the RGPF, saw the arrest and detention of many individuals, and the recovery of illegal items.

Dillon Randy Joseph, 27 years, Bus Conductor of Mt. Horne, St. Andrew, was arrested and charged on two counts of Money Laundering, for cash amounting to $9,290.00 ECC and $4,500.00 ECC. He was granted bail in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5000.00) with one surety, he is scheduled to make his first court appearance on 17.02.21.  

Lisbon Thomas 21 years, Farmer of Mirabeau, St Andrews was arrested and charged for the offence of Driving Without a Driver's License.

Nineteen (19) year old Sashin Gibbs of Paraclete, St Andrew, was arrested and charged for Possession of a Controlled Drug, and Intent to Supply a Controlled Drug to wit cannabis. He was granted bail in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars (2500.00) with one surety and he is scheduled to make his first court appearance on 29.03.21.

Rahim Corzine Thomas James, 26 years, Farmer of Mirabeau, St. Andrews was arrested and charged for seven (7) counts of Money Laundering in relation to two hundred and twenty three thousand, six hundred and eighty two dollars and eighty five cents ($223, 682.85 cents E. C).  These offences were committed between 10/1/2017 and 16/1/2021.    He is scheduled to appear at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on February 3, 2021.
