The Criminal Investigation Department Is the detective branch responsible for -
  • The collection and provision of criminal intelligence
  • Detection, prevention and investigation of serious crimes including Homicide, Sexual offences, Robbery, Firearm related offences etc.
  • Coordination of Country Interpol Affairs
  • Investigation of criminal cases
  • Missing persons investigations
