Mandate:
  • Provides security for revenue collected at the Port and other assets
  • Ensures that there is a safe and secure environment to conduct business transactions at the Port
  • Detection and prevention of illegal substances entering the state through the port
  • Ensuring boats, cargo and passengers embarking and disembarking on the Port meet ISPS standards and signs clearance documents certifying compliance
  • Vets persons with standing contractual arrangements with the Port
