La Poterie Resident Charged for Receiving

A 29 year old farmer who resides at La Poterie, St. Andrew was arrested and charged by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, Grenville Police Station, for two counts of Receiving. 

Kemron Bernard was charged after he allegedly received a firearm and a quantity of gold jewelry valued at fifty-three thousand dollars ($53,000.00) ECC.

He appeared at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on December 1, 2020, and was granted bail in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00), with two (2) sureties.   As part of his bail condition, he has to surrender all his travel documents and report to the Grenville Police Station once weekly.  He will reappear in court on December 9, 2020.

Police investigations are continuing.
