Police Categorically Refutes Claims of Empty Fire Trucks

  • 11 Dec 2020

The Royal Grenada Police Force categorically refutes claims made on the back page of ‘The New Today Newspaper’ that one of its fire appliance arrived at the scene of a fire at Lucas Street, St. George, without any water in its tank, on Thursday December 10th, 2020.

The appliance arrived at the scene of the fire filled to capacity, they utilized the entire contents and was unable to refill at a fire hydrant in close proximity and had to resort to Upper Lucas Street, St. George, to another Fire Hydrant to refill.

The Fire Department and by extension the Royal Grenada Police Force, thanks the general public for their assistance and continued support.
