Reinstallation of Prohibited Lights and Other Fixtures

The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force wishes to inform the general public and in particular motorist, that it is an offence to reinstall prohibited lights, fixtures, and other cosmetic accessories on motor vehicles, post inspection or at any time without first seeking permission from the Licensing Authority.

 

Persons in violation of the Road Traffic Act, would be subjected to the provisions of the Law, and Reinsertion Notices will be served on persons found in violation.

 

Further, Police are investigating the circumstances that lead to a serious accident that occurred in the Green Bridge area, St. George, on Monday 11th January, 2021. The rider (male) was taken to the General Hospital via ambulance, where he is presently warded.  Police investigations are ongoing.

 

The RGPF looks forward to continued commitment and compliance with the law, and eagerly anticipates the cooperation of all, as we seek ensure safer road practices in 2021.
