Grenada Records First Homicide for 2021

The Royal Grenada Police Force recorded the first homicide for the year 2021, on Monday June 7th, 2021, at approximately 09:15 hours.  This unfortunate incident occurred at Jean Anglais, St. George. 

 

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused reported to police at South St. George Police Station that the victim owed him a sum of monies and requested police assistance.   The police responded and an agreement was reached between both parties.

 

Subsequently, the accused reportedly used a knife and inflicted numerous stab wounds about the victim’s body.

 

The deceased is Lindy Skinner – Morain, a Food Vendor of Jean Anglais, St. George.

 

The accused is in police custody assisting with investigations.
