One person is in police custody assisting with investigation into a homicide that occurred on Monday 16th November, 2020, at Paraclete, St. Andrew. Initial investigations revealed that an altercation arose over missing monies, which resulted in the accused man inflicting a single stab wound to Rodel Celestine, 34 years, Labourer of Paraclete, St. Andrew, resulting in his death. Celestine was pronounced dead at the Princess Alice Hospital, Mirabeau, St. Andrew. Police investigations continue.

Man on Housebreaking Spree Arrested A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a spate of housebreaking incidents in the Mt. Gay and River Road (St. George) areas. Mondel Baptiste, alias “Buggy” appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 10th November, 2020, where he pleaded guilty to 3 counts of Housebreaking and Stealing and 2 counts of Housebreaking. He has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison and is due back in Court on November 19th for sentencing. The incidents occurred between November 3 and 5th.
