Neil Wells, a Corporal of Police, was arrested and charged by officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department for the offence of Grievous Harm, on Monday June 21st, 2021.    The officer was charged following an alleged incident between himself and a resident of Morne Rouge, St. George, on June 12th, 2021.   He was granted bail in the amount of six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) with one (1) surety, and will appear in court on September 20, 2021.   Wells was suspended from active duty in the Royal Grenada Police Force.
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force hereby advices the motoring public that Marrast Hill Public Road, St. George, will be reopened to vehicular traffic, from Saturday 19th June, 2021.   The Traffic Department takes this opportunity to thank the general public for their patience and understanding during the past week and looks forward to their continued cooperation.
Police are confirming a suspected hanging incident that was reported on Thursday 17th June, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p. m.  This incident occurred at Cafe, Woodlands, St. George.     The deceased is David Ronald Norcisse, 43 year old, Farmer of Hope Vale, St. George, was discovered hanging in a shed located on the farmlands he oversees.    The deceased was last seen alive around midday on Thursday 17th June, 2021.     Police investigations are ongoing. 
Five men, who appeared at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 16th June, 2021, for several drug related offences, were granted bail in the amount of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000.00) each with three (3) sureties with the following bail conditions.     They are to surrender all their travel documents forthwith. They are not permitted to leave the state without permission of the court.
