The Royal Grenada Police Force is in mourning as we have lost a fellow officer. Corporal Richard Logan, who was attached to the Police Tailor Shop passed away at the General Hospital on Monday June 7th, 2021, following an illness.   The Commissioner of Police, Gazetted Officers, Rank and File of the force extends deep condolences to the family, friends and colleagues as we come to terms with this loss.   Following his death, the Assistant Commissioner responsible for Administration ordered that all police flags be flown at half-mast.      
The Royal Grenada Police Force recorded the first homicide for the year 2021, on Monday June 7th, 2021, at approximately 09:15 hours.  This unfortunate incident occurred at Jean Anglais, St. George.    Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused reported to police at South St. George Police Station that the victim owed him a sum of monies and requested police assistance.   The police responded and an agreement was reached between both parties.   Subsequently, the accused reportedly used a knife and inflicted numerous stab wounds about the victim’s body.   The deceased is Lindy Skinner – Morain, a Food Vendor of…
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force wishes to advise the general public, and in particular motorists, that Cemetery Hill, St. George, will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday 8th June, 2021, from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.   This closure is necessary to facilitate the pouring of concrete mixture in that vicinity.   As a result of this, no vehicle will be allowed to travel up Cemetery Hill from its intersection with River Road; nor will any vehicle be allowed to enter Old Fort Road from its intersection with Lucas Street, St. George.  No vehicle will be allowed…
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force hereby advises the general public that employees of Grenlec will transport a generator from Grand Mal to Queens Park, St. George, on Saturday 5th June, 2021, between the hours of 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.   As a result of this, members of the public and in particular motorist should anticipate delays in the flow of traffic along this route.   The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force thanks the general public for their cooperation and understanding and regrets any inconvenience that may be caused.
