The Ministry of Infrastructure Development wishes to in inform the general public that the Balthazar Road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 30th May, 2021. Officers attached to the Western Division are investigating a report of Robbery with Violence, which occurred at the Victoria Gas Station, on Thursday 27thMay, 2021, at approximately 9:00 p.m.   The assailants escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.   Anyone with information of the incident is asked to contact Police Emergency 911; Victoria Police Station at 444 8424; Gouyave Police Station at 442 8224; police hotline at 444 1958 or the nearest police station.   Police investigations are ongoing.
The inspector in charge of the St. David’s Police Station invites farmers and other interested individuals within its policing area, to a meeting scheduled for Wednesday 2nd June, 2021, at the St. David’s Police station commencing at 5:00 p.m.   This meeting is geared towards reestablishing the St. David’s Farm Watch Program.    We anticipate your presence and contribution.
The RGPF wishes to inform the public, that a thorough investigation was conducted into the complaint made by Pearls resident Ronald Charles, against Corporal Kenny Herry, alleging Police brutality.   As we have indicated previously, a completed case file has since been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecution in April, 2020, for his considered opinion.   To date, this matter is still under consideration by the DPP’s office and whenever a directive is given the RGPF will communicate the findings to Mr Charles.
