Members of the Royal Grenada Police Force who were deployed to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on April 18th, 2021, to assist with security and humanitarian services, will remain on the island for a further three (3) weeks.   During the past two weeks they were involved in the construction of eight (8) massive mobile storage units that are used as warehouses to store aid.   These officers are in high spirit and continue to carry out their duties in an exemplary manner.        
The Royal Grenada Police Force Sports Club made a presentation to the J.W. Fletcher Catholic Secondary School on Friday 7th May, 2021.  The items consisted of football equipment, running spikes, football boots and football uniforms.   The Principal, Mrs. Laurel Bartholomew, School Sports Committee, staff and students were present during the handover of these items.     The RGPF Sports Club adopted the school in 2017, as part of its Community Policing outreach.  The equipment are expected to be used by the under 15 boys and girls team, under 19 boys team and the girls senior team, who are presently…
Myanna Mitchell, who was arrested and charged for Attempted Murder and Arson, and subsequently remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison, returned to Court on Friday 7th May, 2021.  She was granted bail in the amount of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000.00) with two sureties.    As part of her bail condition, Ms. Mitchell ought not to have any contact with the Virtual Complainant nor witnesses, she is forbidden from visiting Willis, St. George and also mandated to report to the Central Police Station every Friday.   Ms. Mitchell is scheduled to reappear in court on July 12, 2021.
Officers of the Traffic Department, Grenville Police Station arrested and charged Kellon Jeffery, 40 years, Mechanic of Calaloo, Hermitage, St. Patrick, for Driving without Due Care and Attention and Driving without a Driver’s Licence.  This, after a vehicle he was driving collided with a 9 year old student at Dunfermline, St. Andrew, on May 2nd, 2021.      Jeffery was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison on Monday May 3rd, 2021, and will return to court on May 10th, 2021.    The child remains warded at the General Hospital.
