Nine civilians, who appeared before the St. David’s Magistrate’s Court on Monday 17th May, 2021, for stealing a quantity of Marijuana from the Sauteurs Police Station, were granted bail. Pat Bruno, a Grenadian- American citizen was arrested and charged for violating Grenada’s Covid19 regulations after he failed to quarantine as per regulation. The individual arrived in Grenada on Saturday 15th May, 2021, boarded a taxi that took him to Mardigras, St. George, where he allegedly mingled with several members of that community and surrounding areas, instead of proceeding to his approved quarantine site. Officers assigned to the station noticed the disappearance of drugs over a period of time and took remedial action. A sixteen (16) year old student was arrested and charged for Grievous Harm in relation to a stabbing incident that occurred on Wednesday 12th May, 2021, at the Grenville Bus Terminus. The incident involved another student who received two stab wounds to his chest and left arm. He is presently warded at the General Hospital in a stable condition.
