Officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department are conducting investigations into a shooting incident that occurred at Hope, St. Andrew on May 24, 2021.    Initial information suggested that an altercation occurred on the farmlands of a resident of Grand Bacolet, St. Andrew. This resulted in the property owner discharging several rounds from his licensed firearm.     A resident of Cuma, St. Andrew, received several wounds as a result of this occurrence and is warded at the general hospital in stable condition.   Police investigations are ongoing.                          
Pat Bruno, who was arrested and charged for Violating Grenada’s Covid19 Regulations, appeared before the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday 21st May 2021.   He was fined five thousand dollars ($5000.00) to be paid on or before Friday 28th May, 2021. In default, he will spend three months at Her Majesty’s Prison.  
The Royal Grenada Police Force will be conducting live ammunition training at the Pearls Airstrip, Camp Raymond (Pearls), St. Andrew on Saturday 22nd May, 2021, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.    Animal owners, small craft operators and the general public are advised to exercise extreme caution when venturing into this area.
Police are seeking the assistance of the general public in locating Shanice Gibbs, 14 years old of Cemetery Hill, St. George.   Shanice left home on Sunday 16th May 2021, and has not returned since. She was last seen wearing a short jeans pants and white vest.
