Officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department, Eastern Division, visited the scene of a suspected hanging in the village of Richmond, St. Andrew, where the body of a male was found hanging from a tree.   The body was later identified as Judelyn Cambridge, a resident of Richmond, St. Andrew.  He was pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer.     Police investigations are ongoing.
A resident of Telescope, St. Andrew, is presently in police custody assisting with investigations into an alleged shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday 11th May, 2021, at Telescope.   Officers assigned to the Grenville Police Station also discovered a quantity of 12 gauge cartridges, a flare gun and flares that were reportedly used in that incident.   This individual is expected to be charged.   Police investigations are ongoing.  
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force hereby advises the general public and in particular motorists, that one (1) lane of Coconut, Mt. Parnassus Public Road, St. George, will be closed to vehicular traffic from Wednesday 12th May, 2021, for a period of one (1) week.       The Ministry of Works intends to remove a large boulder in the vicinity.   The Traffic Department and the Ministry of Works thanks the general public for their cooperation and understanding and regrets any inconveniences that may be caused.
Devon Alexander of Richmond Hill, St. George, who was detained by police on Friday May 7th, 2021, was arrested and charged after officers discovered a quantity of drugs, a firearm and ammunition.     He appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Monday May 10, 2021, and was granted bail in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) with one (1) surety.    As part of his bail conditions, Alexander was required to surrender all his travel documents.  He will reappear in court on June 28, 2021.
