Officers attached to the Drug Squad Unit arrested and charged five (5) residents of Non Pariel, St. Mark, for several drug related offences in relation to a seizure of four hundred and eighty-four (484) pounds of Marijuana on Saturday 12th June, 2021, at Non Pariel, St. Mark.  The seized Marijuana carries an estimated street value of one million, ninety-seven thousand, seven hundred and twelve dollars ($1,097,712.00).   Estone Young was charged for Importation of a Controlled Drug and Trafficking a Controlled Drug; Errol Richards was charged for Trafficking a Controlled Drug; Zoyd Clement, Waleed John and Brent Patrick were charged…
Two (2) Vincentian Nationals who were arrested and charged on Saturday 12th June, 2021, for Entering the State without the Consent of an Immigration Officer and Failure to Submit to a Government Approved Quarantine Facility, were brought to court on Monday June 14th 2021.   Laverna and Lesie John were ordered to be removed by the Presiding Magistrate on the first charge and reprimanded and discharged on the second charge.  
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force hereby advises the general public that as a result of ongoing work on the Marrast Hill, Public Road, St. George, the undermentioned changes are anticipated.   Marrast Hill, St. George will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June, 2021.   One way traffic will be facilitated on Marrast Hill, St George, from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th June, 2021.  Members of the public should anticipated delays on this route.     The Traffic Department apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused.    
The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force wishes to inform the general public, that Melville Street, St. George, (close to Rubis Gas Station) and the Constantine Public Road will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday 13th June, 2021.   This closure is necessary to facilitate the cutting of two silk cotton trees in these areas.   As a result of this, the general public is advised to use alternative routes.   The RGPF apologizes for any inconvenience and anticipates the cooperation of the residents and the general public.
