Keiron Chitan, 30 years, Farmer of Upper St. John’s, St. Andrew, has been charged with non-capital murder.   Chitan who will appear at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on Friday 17th January, 2020 is alleged to have intentionally caused the death of Lenisha Stafford, 16 years, by unlawful harm.   An autopsy report revealed that Stafford who was discovered at the home of the accused died from injuries sustained as a result of a gunshot wound to the forehead.   Police investigations continue.       Source:       Office of Commissioner of Police   Contact:     Community Relations Department                    440-3764; 405-5324  …
Ray Andrew, a 47 year old Fisherman of Telescope, St. Andrew who appeared at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on a charge of attempted non-capital murder in connection with a police complaint of domestic violence has been denied bail.   A 35 year old Fontenoy (St. George) resident has been remanded in custody after appearing in court in connection with the seizure of 126-pounds of cannabis.   Charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug and Trafficking in of a Controlled Drug, Avarnell Antoine appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 14th January, 2020 where he was denied bail.   Antoine is alleged to be one of the occupants in a vehicle that was involved in a drug bust in the Boca (St. George) area on December 29th 2019.   Police investigations continue.       Source:       Office…
