The driver of the passenger bus that plunged into the sea at The Carenage, (St. George’s) has been charged with Causing Death by Reckless Driving.   Kim Tobin, 44 years, resident of River Road, St. George appeared before the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court #1 today, Monday 30th September, 2019.   Tobin has been granted bail in the sum of fifty thousand dollars with two sureties. Carriacou police have arrested and charged a relative in connection with the death of 81 year-old Charles Joe Allard.   The charge of non-capital murder was laid against Randolph Lawrence, 52, Childminder, of London, England at the weekend. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of this morning’s (Friday 20th September, 2019) incident involving a passenger bus that veered off the sidewalk and into the water at The Carenage, St. George’s. The emergency call was received about 09:20 a.m.   Several members of the public dove into the water and rescued all persons that were onboard. One female passenger, Altrice Theresa De Coteau, 65, of White Gate, St. John was later pronounced dead at the General Hospital.
