A St. George resident who has been charged by police with Fraud by False Pretense and Money Laundering has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison after failing to post bail.   The charges were laid against Jude Sylvester Joseph of Mt. Police are investigating two separate structural fires that occurred on Saturday 11th January, 2020. At Moliniere (St. George), an early morning fire completely destroyed the second floor of a two-storey dwelling house while an afternoon fire that occurred at Williamson Road, St. George’s left two houses completely destroyed; another with partial damages and one other with minor heat damages.   Vita Paul, 92 years, an occupant of one the affected houses who had to be taken to the General Hospital was later pronounced dead.
